Vampire Deer. Yes they are real!

So, there apparently are such things as fanged "vampire deer". They are otherwise knows as Musk Deer - and yes, they really do exist.

Mostly from Siberia, the fangs are mostly used as weapons against predators. They do not suck blood, or hunt humans to stay immortal.

Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction! I had no idea that these creatures were real when I inserted the species of Vampire Deer into my Tween Thriller The Prizin of Zin. Now I know the idea wasn't originally mine, although nonetheless scary.
