Tip for today: Enlist some help around the house. It doesn't matter if you live alone, or with someone who refuses to help... you can still do it.
For teenagers, bribery works well. think of something that is very important to them, and offer extra some for extra help. If you explain to people that it is just while you are on a deadline, they will be more likely to jump in and help. Supportive spouses are worth their weight in gold.
Friends and extended family are a good resource. And if you can't ask, or just won't ask, then there's always maid services. Registered ones are great, or teenagers from church are another good option. Safeway.com delivers groceries in my neighborhood, and my church family is amazing.
There's actually a lot of options for freeing up a few minutes a day. Put your mind to it and figure out a few. Even getting up 30 minutes earlier than normal. Either use that time to tidy up if you are not a morning writer, or write and tidy later. It all works out in the end.
Until next time,
