An easy card game for coding instruction for two to six participants, each game.
With three sets of coding questions (ICD9, CPT, and HCPCS) and three sets of
cards, three different games can be run simultaneously involving up to 18
players and one answer person.
The Billing Board Game
With a giant insurance form as the game board, participants must answer
billing and coding questions correctly to progress across the insurance form to
the end. The first person to reach the signature box at the bottom of the form
wins. Using trump cards such as: Invalid quantity billed for CPT, and Missing
diagnosis, getting through the game board is not as easy as it seems. Real
claim rejection reasons stump participants and keep them from achieving their
goal of completing the form error-free. This set comes with multiple game
boards for multiple games and unlimited players, with one answer person for
each game. Both HCFA 1500 forms and UB-92 or UB-04 game boards
available to teach both professional and facility billing.
