You can't move an immovable object.You can't teach someone who won't learn.

And you can't change someone who does not want to change. We can only be responsible for ourselves.

Be an example. Let your light shine. And in being that person that is happy and tackling the world on your own, you will inspire others to follow you.

Be a great leader. Inspire others to greatness. Lead in such a way that others have no choice but to follow you, because you are following something greater than yourself.

God works in mysterious ways.

Wanna make your dog crazy?

Try this summertime trick. Freeze some snacks or some of their favorite toys in a giant block of ice. They can keep cool trying to get them out.

You can freeze:
plastic of rubber toys
small chunks of chicken or beef
jerkey treats
basically anything that won't dissolve in the fluid.

Have fun with it. They will love it too.

Nothing changes...

Unfortunately this is more true than I would care to admit. But the fact is, that if you want to evoke change, you must be the one to initiate it. Most of the time that means standing - often times alone - against the crowd.

It's easy to turn a blind eye to wrong. It takes no courage whatsoever to allow wrongs that happen around you. Complacency will breed discontent. Everybody is unhappy. Nobody knows why. And nobody will do anything about it.

Except, maybe one.

Be a leader. Be the one.

Make a change in your little corner of the world. Because:

Nothing changes, if nothing changes.

Working on Sunday

Did you know in Biblical times, it was illegal to cross the road on the Sabbath. It was considered work.

Not sure what happened when the chickens did it. You couldn't cook them either.

Thanks to God that we are not that rigid any more. Jesus changed all of that.

Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy...

Of all the things that are most impossible for me to understand, by far is this:

That one man, who lived thousands of years ago, loved all of mankind so much, including me - someone He would never, ever meet in person - that He was willing to die so that I could be free.

I will never understand what you went through, but I thank you Jesus, from the bottom of my heart.

I have never, ever seen the Virgin Mary in a tortilla chip, or witnessed the miracles of God in a burning tree stump.
