I first wrote about the Red Tuna Crabs invading San Diego sometime last week. since then, they have continued to come in record numbers:
Hundreds of thousands of them washing up, crawling up, and migrating up on the shores of southern California. One theory is the El Nino storm formation off shore in Mexico is driving them north. Others just say that the ecosystem is righting itself. With the crabs over-populated, they have to die off to keep our system of checks and balances in order. I'm not sure. Read the whole story here:
