We sacrifice for Him because He sacrificed for us.
Life sucks. Get a helmet. (Thank you Denis Leary). To quote my mother, "whoever told you life was fair?"
There are going to be things that happen in your life that shouldn't. People who should be for you, will be against you - and who they are will astound you.
You will have difficulties in your job.
You will fight with your children.
Your doctor won't understand your hurts and pains.
The list can go on and on. But the bottom line is this: Life isn't fair. Never has been, never will be. That is the nature of life. And the nature of being a Christian. Life is going to knock you down.
So, while you're down there, on your knees, start up a conversation with God. He's been waiting.
