Ok, I have to admit it. I love gadgets. Anything that will make work easier, I will use. And I have discovered a great one. The GutterWhiz. If you look back on my website, you will see that this is the first product endorsement I have written. It's not like me to do this, but I was so impressed with this little thing that I couldn't hold back.
This magic thing allows you to stand flat on the ground and clean your gutters. It even works for two story homes too. And it works. After living through a 7 year drought, my gutters were full of all sorts of dried leaves, dirt, and other muck. This little gem let me easily walk around the house and clean them out from the ground. No ladders, no falling, no ER visits, and no deductibles. LOL. All kidding aside, this tool works great for anyone. You will also need to buy a telescoping pole to put it on, but most hardware or DIY stores carry them. I would rather do this than hire someone to clean my gutters out.
