Despite popular Hollywood beliefs, people do not become angels when they die, and angels do not become people when they fall in love. Angels and humans are two completely different creations, meant for very different purposes. Scripture tells us that humans are considered to be above the angels in God's eyes. Why? I don't know. How? I don't know. I just know that angels are real. And even among the angel population, they are not the same.
We know from the Bible that the different types are:
Worshipping angels
Guardian angels
Messenger angels
Warrior angels
Fallen angels
What is the most common phrase that is said when humans encounter angels?
"Don't be afraid!" The angels always have to tell us not to be scared. That tells me that they are pretty scary looking creatures. And these would be the messenger angels.
So what would happen if we ever came into contact with a warrior angel? I imagine that we would have the boogie monster scared right out of us.
