SGDD.
Same garbage, different day. Some days I get pushed to the point of snapping. Today was one of those days. Some days it is hard to deal with the people who live to push your buttons, and at Christmastime, no less.
But in stepping back from the situation, I had time to reflect on what Christmas really means.
Jesus was sent to give hope to a fallen world. This was especially evident to me today, three days into Advent. People are going to push my buttons, and they will do it on purpose. That will never change because this is an imperfect world. If we were all perfect, or the same, He wouldn't have had to come and endure all that He did for us... for me. One thing we can all relate to is the imperfection of life.
Another thing we can relate to is life's imperfections put into our writing. If you want to meet people where they are, and have that true life connection to them through your words, you need to bleed the imperfection of life onto the page. Every button is a new opportunity to bring Christ alive to others.
SGDB. Same Garbage, Different Book. Make your garbage count!
See life differently.
