Be thankful for your health.
We always save our thanks for November, and I have never really understood why. We should be thankful all year. And one thing, as writers, we should give special thanks for is our health - physical, mental, and spiritual.
Do your legs work?
Can you string two sentences together?
Can you support your family, not necessarily with writing yet, but overall?
Then give thanks.
Thank you for the job.
Thank you for my family and friends.
Thank you for my health insurance. (If you don't have it, then get it.)
Thank you for the computer and tools that I need to be able to write.
thank you for the dogs that I curl up with at night, that love me unconditionally.
Thank you for the car to get me to work each day.
And thank you for the gift of writing. The imagination, the determination to keep pushing forward when life knocks me back. thank you for the ability to produce stories in this ever changing world that will bring more focus onto you.
Thank you for giving your life so that I can live.
Just thank you. For everything.
