If you want to feel better, get plenty of rest and exercise.
Now I know it seems almost like an oxymoron to say if you want more time, then sleep more, but it's true. The more rested you are, the more productive your waking hours will be. Instead of dragging from one task to the next, often times without even realizing how much of the day has passed, you can have more energy, be more aware, and be far more productive.
So the next time the urge to stay up all night pounding keys comes knocking, and you know the alarm will go off in a few hours to get you to work - try to think if there might be another way. I know that darned muse shows up whenever he/she/it feels like it, but if you can make a few notes, (or a few pages of notes) and be able to pick right back up again the next day, give it a try. Get some shut eye, and dream those plot twists into reality.
You can do it!
