We sacrifice for Him because He sacrificed for us!
Vent! Let it all out! Scream! Yell! Cry! Whatever you need to do when life closes in. Go hit some baseballs. Flog a poor, defenseless golf ball. Play some tennis. When life gets to be too much, as it does for us all, surround yourself with those that understand.
For me, this is my writer's group. They are my second family. The ones that see me through thick and thin. The ones that cheer me on, and encourage me. They tell me the truth when I need to hear it, but always address it in love and Christian caring.
And let's not forget that God is always first in line for this also.
We are not meant to go through life alone. Writers and other artists struggle because people just don't get us. and that's fine. They don't need to get us - as long as someone else does. give yourself the freedom to vent when you need to, and then get yourself right back on track and back to work. You have a novel to write.
