All Saint's Day 2015

Today is All Saint's Day. November 1st, it is always the day after Halloween. A common practice of the early church was to celebrate Christian holidays on or around pagan festivals to show them that there was another way.

Today is the day we honor and celebrate all that have gone before, paving the way for our religious freedoms. Those who were martyred centuries ago, and later sainted by the church in order to honor and recognize their lives. Miracles have been attributed to some.

Who are you thankful for? Who, in history has made you appreciate what we have? From Stephen, the first martyr, Paul, the other disciples, all the way up to our heroes of today... who has sacrificed for you. Today is their day. Celebrate! And show God your gratitude!
