It’s kind of nice knowing he’s there, even though I don’t need him every moment of every day. When I’m in a bind, or need some advice, all I have to do is open the closet, and voila, there he is. He’s never cranky or impatient. He always tells me what to do, even though it’s not what I want to hear. On those occasions, back he goes into the closet.
One evening, my friends and I rented a movie. We were hanging out, having a few drinks, a few laughs. My good time was interrupted by my coach. Seems like he texted me every ten minutes. Stuff like, is that the kind of movie you want to watch? And you and your friends are ripping someone’s reputation to shreds. He even had the audacity to tell me I’d had enough to drink! I’ve got to figure out a way to pry that cell phone away from him.
Recently my coach told me he wanted to live with me, in my house, all the time. Can you imagine? I’d have to be on my best behavior every single day. The weird thing is, he said he’d be able to help me be on my best behavior. Maybe I’ll let him out of the closet.
Tomorrow.
