Holistic, or Hole-istic

Holistic healing is a new age, post-modern trend. It means healing of mind, body, and spirit. There are a lot of hurting people out there. But it hurts me deeply to see them chasing a dead-end street for something that can never be a finished product. Healing can never be complete without God.

We are not human beings, waiting for a heavenly experience... we are heavenly creatures, having an earthly experience. From God we came, and to God we will return. Any "healing" that does not have God at the very core can never be complete. It will be hole-istic at best.

Christ as called the great physician. People came to him from miles and miles, on foot, to lay their eyes upon Him, to touch his cloak, or to beg for healing. His response, several times, as recorded in the Bible, "your faith has made you well." Healing without faith, is emptiness.

With God, is the only true Whole-istic healing. Truly mind, body, and spirit.
