We live in a fallen world. To quote my mother, "whoever told you life was fair?" I would actually like to change that to be "whoever told you that life would not hurt?" Unfortunately, because we live in a world dominated by sin, there will always be hurt. We sometimes need to remind others that we have feelings too. People get so caught up in what they want, what they need, and who they are (or appear to be) that they forget to care about those close to them. Options for this scenario are limited. You can try to talk to them, point out how their actions made you feel, and try to come to some sort of agreement. If they won't listen, then it may be time to move on. People come and go from our lives, and they do so for a reason. Every life has seasons. Every life has meaning. And every single life has a purpose. One thing that is constant is Christ's love for us. He is the only thing in this life that is ever-present, never changing, and never failing. Unlike the life and situations around us, He will never let you down. Just ask Him! He's been waiting for you.
