Discipline, to me, means to be regular, and consistent. to have what it takes to do the right thing, or make the right choices, consistently. God does not want wishy-washy followers. He was consistent people that He can count on to take care of business.
What is something you could, or should do more often?
Is it enough to feed the hungry just once, so we can feel better about ourselves? I'm pretty sure they get hungry all the time.
Do you give a coat to someone on the street? Does it get cold again?
Today's challenge is to find something you can do for another, consistently, that will mirror what Christ would have done.
Can you take the trash down for a disabled neighbor each week?
Can you make runs to the grocery store for someone recovering from surgery?
Can you mow the lawn for someone who can't?
Think about it. Do what Christ would have done - consistently, and with discipline.
Until next time...
