Daily. Make time. It only takes a few minutes.
Set a place. In my bedroom, as soon as I wake up. This means before I check my phone, or before I turn on the TV.
No distractions. No one else is up at that hour. I let the dogs out, get some hot tea, and climb back in bed to read. My mind is blank since none of the day's drama has had a chance to set in. The troubles and woes are as far away as my dreams. I am a clean slate. And with a nice, positive start to the day, things seem to go a lot better. A good attitude is half the problem and this really helps.
So now I challenge you... Daily devotions for 2018.
